With strategically located service centers, RFT supports the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry—including brands such as McDonald’s and Burger King—with installation, repair, and field service solutions.
As our company continues to experience significant growth, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Production Technician I to join our team.
About the Role
The Production Technician I will be responsible for repairing, testing, and maintaining wireless communication equipment and related products used in the QSR industry. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working with electronics, and developing hands-on technical skills in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
- Perform repairs on wireless radios, belt packs, headsets, and other electronic equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair electronic assemblies using schematics, diagrams, and established procedures
- Perform component-level repairs using SMT (surface mount technology) and through-hole rework techniques
- Test repaired equipment to ensure quality and functionality
- Collaborate with team members to identify issues and complete daily production goals
- Assist with general inventory control and organization
Our Ideal Candidate
- 2 years of electronics troubleshooting experience down to the component level preferred (not required)
- Associate degree in Electronics or related field preferred (not required)
- Experience with soldering preferred (not required)
- Strong interest in developing a career in electronics and technical repair

- Competitive pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour (based on experience)
- Monday through Friday schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (overtime may be required)
