Job PurposeSummary:
The Warehouse Manager directs, coordinates and plans the storage and distribution of the products and materials of the company. The Warehouse Manager is accountable for all the activities of the warehouse staff receiving, storing of products and ensuring the quality of the goods.
Essential Functions:
Planning, Organizing and Controlling of Warehouse' over-all operations
Organize all activitiesassign jobs accordingly for staff.
Setup layoutspace management, work organization chart and procedures
Manage stock control: the self-assured receipt, storage, retrieval and timely delivery of goods; shipment loadingtransferring; document recording and data entry into system
Constantly plan out all warehouse resources and activities in relation to company objectives and set targets
Make plans to develop staffs of warehouse by internal/on-job training.
Follow upcontrol daily absence and over time.
Ensure that workplace's health and safety requirements are met and take responsibility, including security of the building and inventory
Maintain housekeeping of warehouse and surrounding area
Issue Inventory report, IN/OUT status report, dead stock report, goods age report, consumption report, manpower status report.
Implement cost reduction principle in all aspects of warehouse transactions and activities.
Audit of daily labor and billing reports.
Improvementdevelopment of warehouse
Promote constant motivation among staff to strive for an efficient and effective warehouse administration.
Enhance subordinates' well being and capability through training and give opportunities for promotion and development
Continually research to improve all warehouse operations according to company's objectives
Staff with safety and efficiency as priorities
Necessary Qualifications:
Excellent managerial and organizational skills and abilities.
Strong leadership and motivational skills with effective team building capabilities.
Knowledge of the safety and legal procedures for handling and receiving goods.
Ability to effectively manage time and resolve crises.
Education:
BS/BA degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Supply Chain or Logistics
Experience:
5 -7 years of experience with increasing a track record of responsibility, authority and performance
Demonstrated ability to be able to manage in a team-based environment
Proven ability to motivate employees to a high level of performance
Working knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel, and Power-Point
Business computer skills - Working knowledge of Warehouse Management systems, Solar Eclipse preferred and RF Scanner
