Job Title: Counter Sales 1
Full Time/Non-Exempt
Location: Albany, NY
Reports To: Branch Manager
Seeking customer-focused professional with at least 5 years of HVAC-related experience seeking a Counter Sales role. Skilled in assisting customers, processing orders, and supporting warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide friendly, efficient service in person and over the phone
- Process orders, generate invoices, and ensure accurate same-day entry
- Locate, pull, and load products safely for customers or delivery
- Handle payments, returns, and basic paperwork accurately
- Maintain organized displays and a clean, safe workspace
- Assist with inventory, stocking, and general warehouse duties
- Promote products and help customers find the best solutions
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- At least 5 yrs experience related to heating and cooling systems and parts
- Comfortable using computers and order systems
- Good math and problem-solving abilities
