Responsibilities
- Assist with digging, bracing, and backfilling trenches and manholes.
- Align, place, and connect pipes (PVC, concrete, ductile iron) for water, sewer, and drainage systems
- Install underground pipelines for water, sewer utilities following project specifications and safety standards.
- Use pipe lasers and other precision tools to ensure proper alignment and elevation of pipes.
- Perform concrete finishing and forming tasks around utility trenches when required.
- Conduct utility locating to identify existing underground lines and prevent damage during excavation.
- Assist with welding, plumbing connections, and concrete work to support pipeline installation efforts.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of utility locating methods and safety procedures on construction sites.
- Ability to perform concrete forming and finishing tasks when necessary.
- Familiarity with welding techniques relevant to pipeline installation.
- Construction site experience with a focus on underground utilities or pipeline projects preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction safety standards and practices
Pay: From $28.00 per hour
