What are the responsibilities and job description for the Underground Utility Foreman position at R.E. Beckner Construction, Inc.?
R.E. Beckner Construction Inc., a 4th generation Site Development Contractor, is looking for an experienced, professional Utility Foreman Crew to join our team.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Accountable for following project plans and schedules, ensuring the crew performs activities to meet production goals and client schedules
- Utilize heavy equipment to excavate, install and backfill underground pipe
- Responsible for completing and submitting all required documents in a timely manner including but not limited to timesheets, daily project log sheets, equipment condition reports, repair logs, receipts, purchase orders, tool box talks, etc.
- Communicate both verbally and in written form with management and other employees
- Adhere to all OSHA and FDOT safety procedures and standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements:
- Must have experience in storm, water, and sewer
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Utility Foreman
- Capable of reading blueprints
- Have experience in all aspects of site development
- Be able to track and maintain all daily logs and job progress
- Coordinate and supervise a crew of 5-7 members
- Performs physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs and whole body such as reaching above shoulder, climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, handling of materials, and driving.
- Have strong leadership and coordination skills
Work locations: Offices based out of Pinellas and Citrus Counties with jobs located throughout the central west Florida region.
