Entry-Level Dental Laboratory Technician - Finishing Technician

R-Dent Dental Laboratory is a full-service privately-owned Dental Laboratory and is seeking a dental technician to finish dentures, including polish and pumice. You do not need to have experience. On-the-job training will be provided. Be part of a team that helps people get the dentures, crowns, bridges, and implants that they need for a happy, healthy and successful life.

Technician Hours: 7:30am-4:30pm Monday-Friday (with one hour lunch break)
Location: Bartlett, TN
Salary: starting at $14-16/hour (on-the-job training provided with pay); opportunity for pay increases based on merit

DutiesResponsibilities may include:

• Following the dentist's prescription to finish (including polish and pumice) dentures using machinery and hand tools; and
• Replacing partial or total loss of natural teeth by assisting in the construction of dentures, crowns, bridges, and implants.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to read and write
• Must be able to sit and/or stand for 8 hours
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to work with machinery and hand tools
• A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and attention to detail
• Experience in other area of dentistry, artistry, CAD/CAM, production, construction, food industry, or any other position requiring hand-eye coordination is preferred (such as nail technician, jeweler, mechanic, hair dresser, camera repair, ect.)
• Dental knowledge is a plus but not required
• Preference may be given to TCAT Co-op students.
