What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Research Scientist position at R&D Partners?
R&D Partners is seeking to hire an Associate Research Scientist in Lawrenceville, NJ.
Your main responsibilities as an Associate Research Scientist:
- The qualified candidate will process human samples, maintain the laboratory's biobank (including sample storage and retrieval), and perform a range of experimental procedures under the guidance of senior scientists.
- The type of experiment will vary, depending on program needs.
- Experimental techniques could include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Processing human tissue and blood, Cell-based assays, Flow cytometry, ELISAs/MSD assays, RNA extraction and cDNA synthesis, Gene expression array cards.
What we are looking for in an Associate Research Scientist:
- Candidate should have a B.S or M.S in Biology, Biochemistry, Bioengineering or a related field with at least 2-4 years of relevant experience in an industry setting.
- Hands-on experience with processing human blood for PBMCs
- Ensure accurate recording of data into an electronic laboratory notebook.
- The ideal candidate would be able to work independently, demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to work as a member of a large cross-functional team.
- Familiarity with programming languages and bioinformatics is desirable but not necessary.

$65,977 - $82,472 Dependent on Experience)
