Production Supervisor Injection Molding-C-Shift

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Lead daily injection molding operations to achieve production, quality, safety, and cost KPIs.
- Monitor, review, and act on shift-level performance metrics (e.g., output, scrap, downtime, labor efficiency, safety incidents) to ensure targets are met.
- Assign and manage operator staffing to support the daily production schedule, including coverage for breaks and absences.
- Coordinate with support teams (Process, Setup, Maintenance, Materials, Toolroom, Quality) to maintain flow and rapidly resolve performance gaps.
- Maintain a strong floor presence to verify execution to standard work, safety requirements, and housekeeping expectations.
- Maintain and enforce 5S standards to ensure work areas remain clean, organized, labeled, and audit-ready always.
- Ensure all required training, certifications, and OJT are completed, current, and documented.
- Review and verify production records for accuracy and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) compliance.
- Lead troubleshooting of machine excursions, defects, and process interruptions with appropriate support teams, ensuring corrective actions are implemented and sustained.
- Hold employees accountable for performance, attendance, and policy compliance; partner with HR as needed.
- Complete labor reporting, attendance tracking, and vacation approvals in electronic systems.
- Communicate shift performance, risks, and open issues to the incoming supervisor to ensure continuity.
- Participate in continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and structured problem-solving activities.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proven leadership and supervisory capability in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong decision-making, prioritization, and delegation skills.
- Effective problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency with email and manufacturing systems (ERP, training, payroll).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of five years of manufacturing leadership related experience.
- Prolonged standing and walking throughout the facility.
- Visual acuity for inspections and process monitoring.
- Ability to lift to 15 pounds.
- Manufacturing environment requires appropriate PPE.
- Exposure to elevated noise levels.
- Gowning and sanitation requirements for cleanroom operations.
