R.C. Transport is hiring an experienced CDL-A over-the-road truck driver.
We are a small, established trucking company with steady freight, dependable weekly pay, well-maintained equipment, and very low driver turnover. Our drivers are known by name and have direct access to dispatch and management.
Our OTR drivers are home every weekend unless they choose to stay out for additional miles. All freight is 100% no-touch, and this position includes routine runs to the Dallas, Texas area.
We are looking for a dependable, professional driver who understands the importance of arriving on time for scheduled pickups and deliveries.
Pay
- Competitive mileage pay based on experience, driving record, and availability
- Higher mileage opportunities available for qualified Flex OTR drivers
- Weekly pay by direct deposit
- Detention, layover, and additional compensation when applicable
- Pay reviews based on safety, reliability, performance, and flexibility

Home Time
Our standard OTR drivers are home every weekend.
Drivers generally leave Sunday or Monday and return home toward the end of the week.
Drivers who want additional miles and earning opportunities may choose to stay out and work weekends. Weekend work is not required for the standard OTR position.
Routes and Operating Area
This position includes routine runs between Tennessee and the Dallas, Texas area.

- Northeast
- Midwest
- No New York City or Long Island deliveries
Drivers must be comfortable operating throughout the company’s service area and consistently arriving on time for scheduled appointments.

Driver Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer
- Arrive on time for scheduled pickups and deliveries
- Communicate delays, equipment issues, or other problems promptly
- Follow all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety requirements
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and paperwork
- Send a clear picture of the signed POD immediately after every delivery
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Keep assigned equipment reasonably clean
- Report maintenance and safety issues promptly
- Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers, and warehouse personnel
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least two years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience preferred
- Acceptable MVR and PSP
- No recent DUI, reckless driving, or serious safety violations
- Able to pass a DOT physical and drug screening
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to communicate effectively
- Must be willing to operate throughout the company’s normal service area
- Must take reasonable care of assigned equipment
