We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Helper to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Assist licensed electricians with installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems on construction sites.
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, strip, and connect wiring according to schematics and blueprints.
- Support the setup of electrical components for low voltage and high voltage systems in compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to aid in accurate installation and repairs.
- Operate testing equipment such as ohmmeters to measure electrical resistance and ensure system integrity.
- Help with framing carpentry tasks related to electrical installations, including conduit supports and junction boxes.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and properly handling electrical materials.
Skills
- Prior experience working as an electrical helper or apprentice in industrial or commercial settings.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and testing devices like ohmmeters.
- Strong knowledge of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems.
- Familiarity with NEC regulations, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation.
- Ability to work effectively on construction sites while adhering to safety standards.
- Experience with framing carpentry related to electrical installations is a plus.
