We are seeking a skilled Cell Phone Repair Technician to join our team. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair hardware issues on mobile devices, including screen replacements, battery swaps, and component repairs
- Troubleshoot software problems related to operating systems like Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows
- Use hand tools and soldering equipment to perform precise repairs on circuit boards and internal components
- Interpret schematics and technical diagrams to facilitate accurate repairs
- Perform software troubleshooting, updates, and system restores on mobile devices and computers
- Provide technical support for field service requests and retail sales assistance
- Test repaired devices to ensure functionality and quality standards are met
- Maintain detailed documentation of repair procedures and parts used
- Stay updated on the latest mobile device technologies, repair techniques, and industry trends
Requirements
- Proven experience repairing mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets with knowledge of Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows operating systems
- Proficiency in soldering techniques and working with small electronic components
- Familiarity with computer hardware, schematics, and software troubleshooting methods
- Strong analysis skills to identify issues quickly and accurately
- Ability to use hand tools effectively for delicate repairs
- Excellent technical support skills for assisting customers both in-store and in the field
- Prior experience in retail sales or customer service is a plus
