Qvin
Menlo Park, CA Full Time
POSTED ON 9/27/2022 CLOSED ON 12/15/2022

What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Director, Partnership Development & Advocacy position at Qvin?

Qvin™ is a company that will launch the first product in October 2023. We will be the global leader in Women's Health. Our health technology platform helps women manage their health better, through a non-invasive blood collection device named the Q-Pad™.

Qvin is seeking an experienced partnership development and advocacy leader with a proven track record. Someone who is purpose and mission driven - willing to help us find, build and foster relationships, collaborations and partnerships in service of the brand’s ultimate mission: to empower women (globally).

This role will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer. As an early member of our small but mighty team, you'll have the ability to make a big impact in the way we bring the Q-Pad ™ to market globally.

About Qvin

Women's health has always been under prioritized in science. We still operate in a world built by men, for men. It’s why in 2014, Dr. Sara Naseri and Søren Therkelsen started Qvin to research, develop, and patent a product that powers an underserved and understudied population—women.

Over 70% of the decisions our doctors make are influenced by blood test results.  Every month, 1.8 billion people across the world menstruate. However, the blood our bodies naturally deliver every month has never been explored as a testing source. And yet, menstrual blood has been left unexplored.

Qvin is the first and only healthcare service to use period blood as a non-invasive blood test. We exist to give women an easy, insightful way to monitor existing health issues, proactively screen for others, and go into doctor visits more informed and confident of their own health.

All of us at Qvin want to move the study of women forward. We want to close the gender data gap. And we stand for every person who identifies with women, however they define it

Some of the things you’ll do:

  • Maintain and grow existing Qvin collaborations and relationships.
  • Facilitate and conduct outreach to potential collaborators in the advocacy, non profit space, .gov space and for-profit space.
  • Lead and build the process to identify and shape the business development
  • Build programs with collaborators and help launch programs, website, PR, etc with these new collaborations/partnerships.
  • Create and build a business development process, collaborate with CMO and CEO to help build and manage relationships with existing and new collaborators (eg: Kindbody Clinics, Stanford, etc)
  • Roll up your sleeves and get involved, collaborate with the rest of the marketing and extended Qvin team
