What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fulfillment Manager position at QVC?

We have openings for both Fulfillment Center Area Managers (Nights) and Fulfillment Center Learning Manager. Both positions are onsite and will require you to work from our Bethlehem, PA fulfillment center daily. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.
AREA MANAGER
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Area Manager supports QVC and HSN, and will oversee the distribution operation department, partnering with other departments. We are currently hiring for both Sunday-Wednesday and Wednesday-Saturday nights.
What You'll Do
- Develop and administer operational procedures for perfectly completing activities for incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of products, and keeping the highest standards of inventory accuracy.
- Network and consult with corporate / site resources and facilities staff to ensure low-cost efficiencies and high service levels are maintained.
- Model QVC Group Values and operating principles to build a positive, motivating, engaged Culture, treating all employees fairly, ethically, and respectfully.
- Review existing operations to determine what improvements the department can make to allow for cost reduction, increased speed, and improved customer service.
- Oversee daily operations for assigned area, partnering with other departments.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Distribution, Logistics or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2 years of demonstrated Leadership/Supervisory experience in a high volume distribution center or warehouse environment.
- Experience encouraging a positive work environment and partnering with employees
LEARNING MANAGER
Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, the Fulfillment Center Learning Manager supports QVC and HSN, and will lead and manage all aspects of fulfillment operations training and continuous learning for warehouse team members. Will partner with Human Resources and Operations to develop effective training programs and tools.
What You'll Do
- Utilize data and analytics to ensure consistent, successful development, while building strong relationships across teams and driving daily improvements in a dynamic environment.
- Achieve learning and operational goals through effective onboarding and continuous education of team members.
- Design, revise, and facilitate training programs using proven instructional methods and adult learning principles.
- Manage and coordinate training resources, activities, and assets, including indirect leadership of additional training resources.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Distribution, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2 years in learning and development facilitation and design
- Strong project management, continuous improvement, and metrics-driven mindset.
