Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Field/Calibration Technician with a strong background in instrumentation, calibration, and hands-on troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have extensive field experience, strong technical skills, and a proven track record working in production, process, or GMP-regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform instrumentation calibration, functional testing, and verification.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide range of process instruments and equipment.
- Conduct field service activities including installation, inspection, and diagnostics.
- Maintain calibration records, documentation, and status reports.
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
- Provide technical expertise on instrumentation, sensors, analyzers, transmitters, flow/pressure/temperature devices, etc.
- Ensure all work complies with GMP, FDA, and internal quality standards (if applicable).
- Support laboratory or production equipment calibration as needed.
Required Experience
- 10–15 years of hands-on experience as a Field Technician or Calibration Technician.
- Strong proficiency in calibration of process instruments (temperature, pressure, flow, level, analytical devices).
- Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Experience working in instrumentation production, process, power generation, or industrial environments.
- Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision.
