Job Summary
Seeking an Automation Engineer to support automation initiatives within a GMP-regulated biologics pilot plant environment. This role will focus on automation system support, troubleshooting, integration, maintenance, and continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with GMP and SDLC standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide automation system support and troubleshooting in a GMP-regulated environment
- Support integration of new automation systems and devices
- Perform system maintenance, upgrades, and enhancements
- Contribute to SDLC documentation, SOPs, and compliance activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability and operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or related field
- 3 years of industrial automation experience
- Strong experience with Ignition platforms and PLC programming
- Knowledge of IT/OT integration and system/device integration
- Experience working in GMP-regulated environments
- Experience with PI Historian, DeltaV, or Unicorn systems is preferred
