QuSpin is a small high tech company of about fifteen people working at the frontiers of quantum sensors, light optics, and precision electronics. We are looking for an Operations Manager who can keep our production and R and D activities running smoothly every day. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being organized, proactive, and always one step ahead of the teams needs.
Responsibilities
- Track inventory of parts and assemblies and maintain accurate records
- Manage ordering of parts, supplies, and tools
- Schedule production activities and coordinate with engineering and manufacturing teams
- Maintain vendor relationships and track lead times
- Keep production workspaces stocked, organized, and ready for daily work
- Support assembly and production planning by ensuring all materials are available
- Maintain simple bookkeeping records related to purchasing and inventory
- Follow up on ongoing tasks and make sure nothing falls through the cracks
- Help improve and maintain basic operational processes
- Support general operations tasks needed to keep the company running well
Requirements
- Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Very good memory and comfort with tracking many small tasks
- Experience with inventory or operations preferred
- Comfortable working in a fast moving high tech environment
- Good communication skills and ability to work across teams
- Ability to learn our parts, assemblies, and production workflows
About the role
This is an on site full time position at our facility in Louisville Colorado. You will work directly with our engineering and manufacturing teams and play a central role in keeping day to day operations smooth and reliable. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys being the person who makes sure everything is in place and ready so that the rest of the team can do their best work.
Pay: $65,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
