Your Role
As a Sous Chef, you’ll be integral to our kitchen team, ensuring smooth and efficient food service to help deliver exceptional dining experiences. Some of your key responsibilities include:
- Prepare and present meals to meet guest or banquet event order specifications.
- Accurately measure and portion ingredients for consistency.
- Ensure all kitchen staff adhere to standards, procedures, and sanitation practices.
- Utilize and maintain kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, and steamers.
- Manage inventory, ensuring that supplies are fresh and of high quality.
- Monitor food temperatures during cooking and ensure proper storage.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation and kitchen.
- Oversee kitchen opening and closing tasks and support the Executive Chef as needed.
- Prepare food for employee cafeteria or work banquet stations as scheduled.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Prior Cook experience in a hotel or restaurant required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Unexpired Food Handlers Certification.
