Your Role
As the Restaurant Assistant Manager, you'll assist in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant and bar. Your responsibilities will include:
- Support the F&B team day-to-day, providing hands-on guidance and helping foster a positive, productive work environment.
- Assist in ensuring efficient and effective operation of all restaurant outlets, upholding high standards of service.
- Help monitor inventory, cost control, and purchasing practices to support profitability goals.
- Assist in executing promotional and marketing strategies to drive sales and attract guests.
- Support the culinary team in menu execution, maintaining awareness of cost, pricing, and guest preferences.
- Assist with staff onboarding, training, ongoing coaching, and performance evaluations — including 90-day and annual reviews — to maintain high service standards.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve complaints with professionalism and care, including monitoring VIP and special guest requests.
- Help ensure compliance with health, safety, and liquor regulations.
- Assist with scheduling according to business forecast, payroll budget guidelines, and productivity requirements.
- Support financial reporting activities, including payroll, purchasing, invoice vouchering, and expense tracking.
- Ensure accurate cash handling and adherence to hotel credit policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout all F&B outlets and work areas.
- Ensure departmental training and reporting is completed as scheduled.
- Participate in required M.O.D. program as scheduled.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 1 years of supervisory experience in a restaurant setting.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a 2 to 4-year college degree is preferred.
- Unexpired Alcohol Awareness Certification and Food Handlers Certifications.
- Must be proficient with POS and Windows operating systems.
