Your Role
As a Public Area Attendant, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining our hotel’s high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Some of your key responsibilities include:
- Clean and sanitize public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, elevators, stairwells, and fitness centers using proper tools and chemicals. Tasks include vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, dusting, and polishing.
- Remove trash and debris from public spaces, empty trash receptacles, and ensure areas are spotless and inviting.
- Replenish supplies and prepare cleaning carts with the necessary tools and products to complete assignments efficiently.
- Inspect furniture and equipment for damage such as rips, tears, or stains and report issues promptly for maintenance or repair.
- Keep spaces safe and secure by safeguarding assigned keys, ensuring sensitive areas are handled with care, and maintaining guest privacy.
- Greet and interact with guests, addressing questions and requests professionally and courteously to enhance their experience.
- Follow safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and secure environment for guests and staff.
- Support other housekeeping tasks or special projects such as delivering items to guestrooms, assisting with room cleaning, and preparing spaces for the next guest with attention to detail.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Prior cleaning experience in a hotel or similar setting preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent is a plus.
- Knowledge of proper chemical handling.
- Afternoon/Evening availability.
