Lot Attendant (Union)

Job Summary:

The Lot Attendant is responsible for providing the highest level of customer service by interacting directly with customers. This position checks in units upon return, shows customers to their rental units, and ensures the rental fleet meets company standards before departure.

What You'll Do:

• Ensure each vehicle meets company standards before departure.

• Inspect vehicles for damage and verify assets, including taking proper photographic documentation before rental and upon return.

• Ensure each vehicle has all required DOT and BIT information.

• Confirm that all required safety equipment is in place and current before the vehicle leaves and when it is returned.

• Report all potential new damage for review.

• Assist with the placement of smaller vehicles.

• Wash and clean vehicles as needed.

• Provide professional and helpful customer service.

• Perform other related duties as required.

• Report all issues to the supervisor.

• Regularly audit asset keys.

Physical Requirements:

• Heavy work: requires ability to lift, twist and carry up to 50 pounds and manipulate (pushing, pulling) up to 160 pounds of product, et cetera.

Working Conditions:

Activities include regularly working in outside weather conditions, exposure to extremes of temperature, visibility, wet and/or humid conditions and vibrations. Noise level in work environment is usually loud. Dust, mechanical hazards, moving objects, operating vehicle, and shift work.

Location:

Sylmar, CA ; travel to other Quixote SoCal locations as needed
