Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, ironing, and organizing linens or clothing
- Maintain floors through carpet cleaning, floor care, and polishing to ensure a spotless appearance
- Ensure all areas meet sanitation standards by properly disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
- Manage custodial tasks including trash removal, replenishing supplies, and janitorial maintenance
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client requests promptly and professionally
- Follow safety protocols and use cleaning equipment responsibly to prevent accidents or damage
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in residential or commercial settings is highly preferred
- Experience with hotel housekeeping or hospitality industry roles is advantageous
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, floor care, and sanitation procedures
- Familiarity with laundry operations and handling delicate fabrics or linens
- Background in housekeeping management or supervising cleaning staff is a plus
- Hands-on experience with cleaning tools such as vacuums, steam cleaners, buffers, and disinfectants
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
