About the Role

Quiroga Law Office, PLLC, is looking for a Litigation Attorney based in the Seattle area to handle litigation matters connected to our immigration practice. This is an opportunity for an attorney who wants to do meaningful advocacy work, manage substantive cases, appear in court when needed, and contribute to a mission-driven firm without the pressure of billable-hour requirements.

The ideal candidate is comfortable appearing in court, attending USCIS interviews, and handling frequent travel. This position is heavily litigation and appearance-based. We are not primarily looking for a research or writing-focused attorney, but rather someone confident in public speaking, court appearances, client interaction, and advocacy in high-pressure settings.

Because this position requires attendance at court hearings and in-person proceedings when needed, the attorney must be located in or near Seattle, Washington.

  • Travel as required for hearings, interviews, trials, and other court-related proceedings.
  • Support a culture of preparation, accountability, and strong advocacy.

  • Minimum of 5 years of post-J.D. of court litigation experience.
  • Experience appearing in court and handling litigation matters.
  • Strong understanding of court procedures and courtroom protocol.
  • Ability to manage complex cases, competing deadlines, and changing priorities.
  • Excellent communication, judgment, and advocacy skills.
  • Immigration litigation experience is preferred, but not required.
  • A legal writing sample authored by the applicant is required.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary based on experience.
  • No billable hour requirement.
  • Health insurance plan upon qualification.
  • Dental and vision plan upon qualification.
  • Meaningful legal work supporting immigrants and their families.
  • Opportunity to work closely with firm leadership.
  • Pro bono opportunities.
  • Professional growth in a mission-driven and collaborative environment.
  • Supportive team culture focused on excellence, accountability, and impact.

Additional Information
