What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warranty Administrator position at QUIRK AUTOMOTIVE GROUP?
Position Overview
Quirk Automotive is looking for a detail oriented and organized Warranty Administrator to join our busy service department.
We are searching for motivated individuals who are engaged and are excited about a career in the automotive industry. Experience preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Key Required Proficiencies:
- Prepares, submits and follows up on warranty claims
- Processes all warranty paperwork, ensuring proper documentation and verifies criteria required by factory or distributor
- Keeps current with all factory recalls and announcements
- Arranges for parts to be shipped to the factory or distributor and resubmits all rejected claims promptly
- Reconciles all warranty receivables and works with the accounting department to obtain payments
- Keeps track of all warranty parts by noting the repair order number, date of replacement and date on which part may be disposed
- Maintains all service and customer records as required by the warrantor
Preferred Skills:
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn dealership software and manufacturer warranty systems
- Able to work independently while also functioning as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
