Job Title: Junior Data Analyst

Location: Washington, DC

Duration: 12-15 months (Possibilities of extension/conversion)

Overview:

Quintrix is on the lookout for professionals who are open to upskill to the exciting world of Data Analysis. This opportunity is for our direct client in Banking/financial Services and includes a 4 week Instructor-led online pre-employment training program (15 hours per week), conveniently scheduled after business hours. Participants who successfully complete the program will receive a $500 stipend. This is a fantastic chance to gain in demand skills, hands-on experience, and a pathway into a dynamic tech role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform SQL queries to extract and analyze data

• Create reports and dashboards using Excel or BI tools

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business data needs

• Participate in ongoing data management and improvement initiatives

Required Skills:

• Good knowledge of SQL

• Strong understanding of Excel (formulas, pivot tables) or BI tools

• Strong analytical and logical thinking

• Good communication skills and a positive attitude

• High attention to detail

• Eagerness to learn and grow in the data domain

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Power BI or other BI tools

• Basic knowledge of Azure or other cloud platforms

• Understanding of Data Governance or MDM concepts (academic exposure acceptable)

• Internship experience in data-related roles

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field

Selection Process:

• Online assessment and technical interview with Quintrix

• Client interview(s)

• 4-week pre-employment online instructor-led training

Stipend paid during Training:

• $500.
