JOB OPENING: Photonic Systems Engineer
Build the interconnect platform that powers the next generation of AI infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute automated test/validation plans to quantify device performance
- Develop and execute automated data analysis to inform photonic circuit architectures
- Contribute to photonic control architecture/algorithm development & validation
- Report measurement results and provide technical assessments of performance
- Collaborate with Design, Fabrication, and Test teams to achieve goals
Your work will directly shape the products that ship and the capabilities the company builds.
To succeed, you will need these qualifications:
- PhD in Electrical Engineering, or equivalently 5 years of industry experience
- Wide breadth of experience and understanding of photonic components and circuits
- Hands-on experience characterizing high-data-rate optical links (IMDD/coherent)
- Capable of independently troubleshooting complex electrical and optical testbeds
- Proficient in Python for test automation and data analysis
- High-initiative to identify issues and act without requiring explicit instructions
Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience developing/operating high-throughput testbeds (wafer/die)
- Proficient with optical link simulation tools and methodologies (VPI or equivalent)
- Familiar with S-Parameter measurements and analysis methodologies
- Familiar electronic simulation tools such as HFSS, ADS, etc.
