Graphics Designer

• Design a wide range of outreach and marketing materials, including posters, exhibits, publications, brochures, and reports
• Create original illustrations, icons, and logos that align with brand guidelines
• Develop visual concepts that effectively communicate ideas and messaging to target audiences
• Maintain and enforce brand consistency across all design deliverables and platforms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project goals and translate them into compelling visuals
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Prepare final files for both print and digital distribution, ensuring quality and accuracy
• Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to refine and finalize designs

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Some prior experience or coursework in designing and producing visual materials
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
• Ability to work independently as a self-starter while also collaborating effectively within a team
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

• Experience designing materials for marketing, outreach, or publication purposes
• Familiarity with print production processes and specifications
• Basic understanding of digital design for web and social media platforms
• A portfolio demonstrating a range of design work, including illustrations, branding, and layout projects

This Graphic Designer position is based on-site and offers a competitive hourly rate of $28-$35 based on experience and qualifications.
