POSITION SUMMARY

·      The Human Resources & Administration Manager (US) serves as a key local HR and administration contact supporting Quintara's U.S. operations. This hands-on role supports employees and managers across multiple U.S. locations and contributes across HR partnership, talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, compensation and benefits, HR operations, immigration coordination, and site administration.

·      The successful candidate will combine sound HR judgment with strong ownership and practical execution. Working closely with the Head of Global HR, U.S. business leaders, and external advisors as needed, this individual should be comfortable with evolving priorities, proactively identify issues, create structure where needed, and implement practical solutions.


Compensation: $60,000~$90,000

Reports to: Head of Global HR

Location: Boston, MA


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

·      HR Business Partnership

-         Partner with managers to support day-to-day people needs, staffing priorities, employee development, and team changes.

-         Provide practical guidance on routine performance, employee development, engagement, and organizational matters.

-         Support managers with performance discussions, promotions, employee development, corrective actions, and team changes.

-         Identify people-related risks and opportunities, recommend workable solutions, and follow through on agreed actions in partnership with HR leadership.


·      Talent Acquisition

-         Lead full-cycle recruitment for scientific, technical, operational, and corporate positions.

-         Partner with hiring managers to clarify requirements, build talent pipelines, assess candidates, and support timely decisions.

-         Coordinate onboarding and promote a professional candidate and new-hire experience.

·      Employee Relations & Compliance

-         Serve as a trusted and approachable local contact for employees and managers on employee relations matters.

-         Support workplace investigations and employee concerns in partnership with the Head of Global HR and external counsel, as appropriate.

-         Support managers through performance improvement plans, corrective actions, employee separations, and related documentation.

-         Support compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment requirements, coordinating specialized guidance from internal leadership or external advisors when needed.

·      Compensation, Benefits & HR Operations

-         Coordinate payroll, benefits, compensation reviews, and employee communications with internal and external partners.

-         Manage employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, leaves, transfers, promotions, and offboarding.

-         Maintain accurate HRIS data, personnel records, and practical workforce reports and metrics.

-         Develop and update policies, the employee handbook, SOPs, workflows, templates, and manager guidance.

-         Continuously improving HR processes to support business growth, compliance, and operational efficiency.

·      Global Mobility & Immigration

-         Coordinate employment-based immigration matters, including H-1B, OPT/STEM OPT, TN, and permanent residence processes.

-         Partner with external counsel, managers, and employees to manage case requirements, timelines, and documentation.

·      Administration & Site Support

-         Coordinate day-to-day office and workplace operations across supported U.S. locations, including facilities and property management, vendors, procurement support, company vehicles, insurance administration, and visitor support.

-         Support office expansion, relocation, new-site readiness, employee activities, and other cross-functional site projects as business needs evolve.

-         Partner with internal owners and external service providers to support workplace safety, emergency preparedness, equipment service coordination, and other site operational needs.

-         Proactively track open items, clarify ownership, follow through on action plans, and escalate risks or resource needs to management as appropriate.

·      Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned based on business needs.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

·      Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

·      4 years of broad-based U.S. HR experience; HR Generalist experience or experience in a growing organization is strongly preferred.

·      Experience supporting employees and managers across multiple U.S. locations or states preferred.

·      Hands-on experience supporting employee relations, recruitment, compensation and benefits, HR operations, and policy or process development.

·      Experience in biotechnology, life sciences, healthcare, manufacturing, technology, or another fast-paced industry preferred.

·      Experience with ADP or a comparable HRIS/payroll platform preferred; immigration coordination experience is a plus.

·      Strong organization, project management, attention to detail, and follow-through.

·      Clear written and verbal English communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across cultures and organizational levels.

·      Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Salary : $60,000 - $90,000
