Your Role: Case Manager – Legal Assistant Team Lead
Responsibilities
As a Case Manager at QPWB, you will play a dual role , providing case management services while serving as the team lead for legal assistants . Your responsibilities include:
🔹 Case Oversight & Litigation Support: Managing and tracking case files, deadlines, and workflows to ensure timely filings, discovery, and case progression.
🔹 Legal Document Preparation: Assisting attorneys by drafting and reviewing pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and trial documents.
🔹 Team Leadership & Supervision: Leading a team of legal assistants , providing guidance, training, and ensuring quality control over legal support services.
🔹 Client & Attorney Coordination: Acting as a liaison between attorneys, clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel to facilitate smooth case handling.
🔹 Discovery & Case Management: Organizing and maintaining case files, handling document production, and assisting in deposition preparation.
🔹 Compliance & Risk Assessment: Ensuring all case-related procedures follow state and federal regulations , while identifying potential case risks.
What You Bring
To thrive in this role, you should have:
✔️ Experience: Minimum of 10 years working as a Case Manager, Senior Legal Assistant, or Litigation Paralegal in Insurance Defense or 5 Years working Construction Litigation (preferred).
✔️ Leadership Skills: Prior experience leading a team, managing workflows, and providing mentorship to legal assistants.
✔️ Legal Knowledge: Strong understanding of case management, litigation procedures, court rules, and document preparation .
