Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and treatment rooms between patients
- Take and develop dental X-rays as directed
- Greet patients, review medical histories, and ensure patient comfort throughout visits
- Document patient records and treatment information accurately
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and assist with ordering as needed
- Educate patients on post-treatment care and proper oral hygiene practices
Requirements:
- Prior dental assisting experience preferred; entry-level candidates welcome
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control protocols
- Dental radiography certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate, patient-first attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
