Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role located in Houston, TX, with some work from home flexibility. As a Scrum Master at Quinnox, you will facilitate agile processes including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and user story refinement. You will coordinate with software development teams, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration. Your role will involve removing impediments, driving team performance, and fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Certification as a Scrum Master (CSM) or related agile certification is a plus
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master with expertise in the Pricing domain to lead Agile teams in delivering high-quality, pricing-focused solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of pricing strategies and Agile methodologies, coupled with exceptional leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, etc.) to ensure smooth project execution.
- Collaborate with product owners and pricing stakeholders to refine and prioritize the product backlog.
- Apply domain expertise in pricing strategies, models, and tools to support team decision-making.
- Identify and remove impediments to maintain team productivity and foster continuous improvement.
- Ensure alignment between cross-functional teams and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Promote Agile best practices and mentor team members to maximize efficiency and collaboration.
- Monitor project progress and report key metrics to leadership and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master, with a background in the Pricing domain (retail, finance, SaaS, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and tools like JIRA or Rally.
- Expertise in pricing frameworks, analytics, and domain-specific tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification preferred.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
