Title: Java AWS Tech Lead
Location: Houston (Hybrid Onsite 4 days a week)
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary technical and delivery lead for a major customer in Houston.
- Should be able to lead a team of 20-30 member in offshore and onsite Model.
- Drive architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise-grade applications using Java and associated frameworks.
- Lead DevOps implementation including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, cloud infrastructure, and automation.
- Collaborate with customer stakeholders to gather requirements, define roadmaps, and ensure delivery excellence.
- Manage distributed development teams, ensuring quality, velocity, and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Proactively address risks, dependencies, and change requests.
- Track delivery KPIs and prepare executive-level status reports.
- Conduct code reviews and drive engineering best practices.
- Ensure compliance with security, quality, and governance standards.
Required Skills:
- Strong hands-on expertise in Java (Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices).
- Solid DevOps knowledge: CI/CD (Jenkins/GitHub Actions), Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform/CloudFormation.
- Experience with AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform cloud platforms.
- Proven experience managing onsite-offshore delivery teams.
- Excellent communication and customer engagement skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical mind-set.
