Position Long Term English Language Arts SubstituteQualifications: Bachelors DegreeClassroom or related experience with children ages 10 MA DESE License preferred: Middle School 5-12 EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Prior teaching experience or related experience with children ages 10 and the ability to contribute meaningfully to grade-level. Candidates must have excellent writing, interpersonal, and organizational skills, and the ability to work with independence in dealing with the diverse elements of the academic environment.Instructional:
- Employs a variety of teaching methods to engage different learning styles and ability levels in the classroom
- Prepares, conducts and delivers motivating and stimulating lessons that reflect knowledge of the curriculum, child development, and student abilities
- Encourages an inclusive classroom that accepts the different perspectives and backgrounds of the students

Utilizes a variety of assessments and uses data in the classroom to monitor students progress
