Instrumental Music Teacher – Grades 4-6
- Must have Illinois Professional Educator License
- Must have Music Endorsement for grade
- Instrumental Teaching Skills preferred (Woodwinds and Percussion)
- Experience teaching beginner instrumental students
- 2026-27 School Year
Performance Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will exhibit the ability to collaborate with a team of instrumental teachers to deliver woodwind, brass and percussion instrument education to 4th - 6th grade students. Duties will include directing 6th Grade Band, working with students in one-on-one settings, sectional and full ensemble settings, monitoring and assessing student musical growth, and creating effective communication with students and parents. The successful candidate will be able to build positive and collaborative relationships with fellow music teachers and a positive and energetic rapport with students. Candidate would preferably be a brass specialist.
