Summer Camp Director – Quincy Country Club (QCC)
Position Type: Seasonal (Summer Leadership Role)
Dates: First week of June through first week of August
Schedule: Monday–Wednesday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Overview
Quincy Country Club is seeking an organized, energetic, and responsible Summer Camp Director to lead our children’s summer camp program for ages 5–12. This is an outstanding opportunity for a school teacher or education professional on summer break to take on a leadership role in a fun, family-oriented club environment.
The Summer Camp Director will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all camp activities while ensuring a safe, engaging, and memorable experience for all participants.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and implement a weekly schedule of age-appropriate activities (games, crafts, sports, pool time, and themed events)
Supervise and lead camp counselors and staff
Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times
Serve as the primary point of contact for parents and club leadership
Manage daily camp operations including check-in/check-out procedures
Coordinate with club departments (pool, racquets, food & beverage) for activities and logistics
Maintain a positive, inclusive, and structured environment
Handle behavioral issues appropriately and professionally
Ensure compliance with all club policies and safety guidelines
Qualifications
Experience working with children (teaching, coaching, childcare, or camp experience preferred)
Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple age groups and staff simultaneously
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
High energy, dependable, and professional demeanor
