Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, following established recipes and standards.
- Engage with members and their guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience and promote sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems ; handle cash handling and cashiering duties efficiently.
- Develop new beverage recipes and experiment with drink presentation to keep the menu fresh and exciting.
- Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and minimizing waste through proper beverage handling.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate food service, banquet events, or catering functions when needed.
- Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption for safety.
Skills
- Extensive experience with POS systems S for efficient order processing.
- Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail creation, wine varieties, craft beer styles, and spirits.
- Proven ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality service standards.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
- Experience in fine dining settings or hospitality industry environments that demand attention to detail.
- Familiarity with beverage recipe development and food safety protocols in food service settings.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate processing of transactions.
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members across restaurant or bar management roles.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures, food safety standards, banquet operations, catering experience, and retail math is highly desirable.
