Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Quincy, MA for a Financial Aid Specialist. The Financial Aid Specialist will be responsible for counseling students and families on financial aid options, administering federal and state Title IV funds, and maintaining compliance with financial aid regulations. Additional responsibilities include processing financial aid applications, verifying documents, troubleshooting issues, and providing exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience for students and their families.
Qualifications
- Experience with Title IV programs and knowledge of Student Financial Aid procedures and regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Background in Finance and budgeting
- Exceptional Customer Service and communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
- Proficiency in relevant software and systems such as financial aid management systems
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in higher education or financial aid administration is preferred
