What are the responsibilities and job description for the World Language Teacher position at Quincy Catholic Academy?
Quincy Catholic Academy is a dynamic, joy-filled PreK through grade 8 Elementary School with over 300 students. We are currently seeking a part-time Foreign Language Teacher (grades 5-8). As we further develop our World Cultures program, we are looking for a teacher with proficiency in a foreign language. We are flexible with regard to any specific language and are looking to offer basic exposure, grammar, and conversational skills in languages such as Spanish, French, Chinese, Italian or other. In addition to teaching the language, our goal is to expose the students to the cultural aspects of other countries, to pique their interests in a global world, and to spark their hearts to the adventures of future travel!
The teacher will enjoy working with motivated students in classes of about 20 students. This is a part-time position (approximately 10 hours a week). The schedule is flexible. If you are interested in sharing your love for language and culture, this part-time job could be perfect for you!
