Lead clinical excellence. Develop providers. Make a lasting impact on community healthcare.

Quinault Community Health (QCH) is seeking a collaborative, forward-thinking Associate Medical Director who is passionate about exceptional patient care, provider mentorship, and advancing the quality of healthcare in our community.

This is an opportunity to combine meaningful clinical practice with influential leadership. As Associate Medical Director, you will maintain an active patient panel while helping guide clinical practice, strengthen provider performance, and support consistent, high-quality care across our services. You will directly supervise assigned Nurse Practitioners, provide clinical guidance, and help cultivate a professional environment where providers are supported, challenged to grow, and empowered to succeed.

Reporting directly to the Medical Director, you will work closely with clinical leadership and collaborate with the Clinic Director on operational priorities, workflow improvements, and effective care delivery. Your leadership will help bridge clinical excellence and daily operations while keeping patients at the center of every decision.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide clinical leadership: Support consistent, evidence-based clinical practice across Primary Care, Pediatric Care, Quick Care, and other services as appropriate to your credentials and scope of practice.
  • Mentor and supervise providers: Directly supervise assigned Nurse Practitioners, provide ongoing coaching and clinical guidance, participate in performance evaluations, and encourage professional development.
  • Maintain an active clinical practice: Deliver patient-centered care while balancing patient appointments with administrative and leadership responsibilities.
  • Strengthen quality and outcomes: Participate in peer reviews, chart audits, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical performance assessments to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Advance clinical standards: Help develop, implement, and maintain clinical policies, procedures, documentation standards, and evidence-based practices.
  • Partner across the organization: Collaborate with the Medical Director, Clinic Director, and interdisciplinary teams to address clinical challenges, improve workflows, and enhance the patient experience.
  • Support compliance and safety: Promote adherence to applicable federal, state, Tribal, HRSA, CMS, payer, and accreditation requirements, including patient safety, infection prevention, and confidentiality standards.
  • Support a connected care model: Encourage coordination among clinical services, including Behavioral Health and Radiology as appropriate.
  • Contribute to organizational growth: Identify practical solutions, support provider education and onboarding, and help strengthen the systems that allow our teams to deliver effective, accessible care.
