Community Cultural Activities Coordinator (50833)

Quinault Community Health & Quinault Wellness Cent
Aberdeen, WA Full Time
POSTED ON 10/28/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 12/27/2026

Are you passionate about bringing people together, building meaningful community connections, and creating opportunities that support wellness and recovery? Quinault Wellness Center is seeking a Community Cultural Activities Coordinator to develop engaging, culturally responsive activities that strengthen recovery, encourage healthy lifestyles, and foster a sense of belonging.

This position is about more than planning events. You will build relationships with community resources, Tribal communities, cultural practitioners, local organizations, educators, artists, and recovery support services to bring meaningful experiences and new opportunities to the individuals we serve. Through these partnerships, you will help expand access to recreational, educational, cultural, and wellness activities that support long-term recovery and community connection.

Working closely with QWC’s clinical, behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment, medical, and peer support teams, you will help integrate cultural experiences and community resources into recovery-oriented programming. You will coordinate cultural celebrations, educational workshops, recreational activities, and culturally focused recovery groups in collaboration with qualified clinical professionals.

You will also help develop an annual calendar of activities, identify opportunities for community collaboration, and seek out resources such as guest presenters, volunteers, donations, and potential grant opportunities. You will promote appreciation of Quinault culture while developing inclusive programming that recognizes and celebrates the diverse cultures and lived experiences of the individuals and families we serve.

If you enjoy building partnerships, bringing creative ideas to life, and helping people strengthen their connections to culture, community, and recovery, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference.
