AP Clerk - PT

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner
• Assist in the area of accounts payable to ensure proper procedures are adhered to which will provide accuracy in all functions.
• Effectively manage time • Meets or exceeds productivity standards.
• Verify payments check for proper application and that deposits are made on a daily basis.
• Monitor daily guest balances over allowed limits and execute necessary follow-ups • Post daily invoices and adjustments into the computer
• Assist with daily work • Process checks • Ensure travel agent commissions are prepared and paid on a weekly basis
• Review daily input for accuracy • Handle month end account reconciliations • Completes all other duties as assigned by Accounting Manager.
• Professionally deal with difficult situations/people • Working in stressful situations • Meet deadlines as required
• Meet multiple priorities of business demands • Adjust to schedule changes and cover shifts on short notice
• Varied tasks under varied conditions • Repetitive work, especially at the end of each month
• Comply at all times with QBRC standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient resort operations • Maintain a neat and organized work area
• Travel to conferences • Entertain potential guests/clients

QUALIFICATIONS: (Include equipment knowledge/use)

Required:

• High School diploma or equivalent, or currently enrolled in an equivalency program • Prior bookkeeping experience • Computer literate • Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees • Required statistics math level • Read, write and speak English fluently.

LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:

• Class III License Required
