Quilt Fairy Longarm Machine Operator

THE POSITION OVERVIEW

The goal for this position is to facilitate our rental program for our customers who use our APQS Longarm Quilting Machines. You will help our renters use our machines and our Intelliquilter computer systems that power the longarm machines. You will also check in quilts that have been dropped off for machine services and quilt those quilts. You will be trained.

We are seeking someone who enjoys cheering on the creative endeavors of others. Ideally you have a background in sewing or quilting already.

THE ROLE

Your shifts as a Quilt Fairy will be day side 8:30am to 5pm. If you are Full Time the shift is Tuesday- Saturday. If you are part time you'd be expected to take on at least two Saturday shifts a month.

Assist our customers as they purchase their quilty items.

Support our customers and our team as needed with a loving presence.

Continually grow your quilting and retail skills to rise to the changes in the industry as needed.

Physical demands: This position involves constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing and standing most of the day. Stooping, kneeling, crouching, and lifting up to 20 lbs
