This position is a minimum of 4 days in the office with flexibility for remote work on Fridays. This position is based out of the Quill Corporate facility in Lincolnshire, IL.

Target Start Date: June 1, 2026 - August 14, 2026 (11-week program)

Intern Pay Rate: $21 - $24 per hour

What You’ll be doing:

  • Gather requirements, design and build new dashboards for Quill using Power BI, to assist in analyzing key business questions
  • Enhance dashboards with commentary using Microsoft Co-Pilot to increase usability, drive business decisions and improve engagement with existing Power BI dashboards
  • Automate existing reports using Snowflake SQL and Power BI or Excel to reduce time to generate each report
  • Collaborate with IT developers to build data cubes to further enhance automation and allow direct access to data for business owners and assist in self-service reporting

What's Needed - Basic Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in a math/statistics/analytics-based major,
  • Must be a rising junior, enrolled as a full-time student carrying a minimum of 12 college credits
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel: ability to use a pivot table and complex formulas
  • Knowledge of relational datasets and experience with working with data (SQL)
  • Experience with a data visualization tool (Power BI preferred - Tableau, Business Objects)

The salary range represents the expected compensation for this role at the time of posting. The specific base pay may be influenced by a variety of factors to include the candidate's experience, skill set, education, business considerations, geography, and internal equity. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements.
