We are looking for a Administrative Assistant to join our team. As an Administrative Assistant with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials, you will be responsible for providing administrative support in public relations, safety, and human resources, working under the supervision of the Sr. Project Manager.

About the Role
Responsibilities:
Tracking Costs across various projects
Help with take-offs and bidding with upcoming projects
Manage with Subcontractors and Dot related paperwork
Maintain accurate training records
Maintain office equipment
Purchase office supplies
Maintain up-to-date filing system
Process incoming and outgoing mail
Schedule various meetings and company events and make necessary accommodation arrangements
Assist in planning company events and plant tours
Maintain employee uniform and safety shoe program
Management support
Assist with various special projects as requested
We Require:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum two years of general office experience
Proficient in reading, writing, and mathematical skills
Ability to work with a variety of people and personalities
Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and familiarity with Access or other database applications
Excellent communication skills on the phone and in person
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to travel occasionally
Project a positive attitude and professional appearance
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to properly handle confidential information
Ability to perform multiple tasks in a busy office environment (may include distractions, interruptions, and noise
Must have excellent work and safety record
Pass required physical examination and drug screen
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift and carry 30 pounds of weight
Physical requirements also include visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination, standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs, climbing on equipment, bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, pushing, pulling, reaching, twisting, balancing, and squatting to perform the essential functions
Must be able to use proper Personal Protective Equipment as required
