Position Summary
QuikCut is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Director of Sales to lead company-wide sales and marketing initiatives. This leadership role is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive growth strategy, strengthening customer relationships, and building a collaborative, high-performing sales organization.
The Director of Sales will play a key role in driving sustainable revenue growth, expanding strategic accounts, and aligning sales efforts with operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Growth & Sales Strategy
- Develop and implement sales strategies targeting key industries and customer segments within custom metal fabrication
- Drive double-digit revenue growth, including expansion of strategic customer accounts
- Lead prospecting, qualification, forecasting, budgeting, and pipeline management efforts
- Manage multiple sales channels, including direct sales, digital outreach, and strategic partnerships
- Utilize CRM and sales technologies to improve visibility, forecasting accuracy, and conversion performance
Customer Relationships & Experience
- Promote a client-focused sales culture centered on long-term partnerships and customer satisfaction
- Maintain and expand relationships with key accounts and strategic prospects
- Adapt sales strategies in response to market trends and customer needs
Marketing & Brand Development
- Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including SEO and content strategies to generate qualified leads
- Partner on branding initiatives to strengthen QuikCut’s market position in precision metal fabrication
Estimating & Quoting Alignment
- Ensure quoting processes align with sales objectives and customer expectations
- Improve quote accuracy, turnaround time, and win rates through process and technology enhancements
- Collaborate with engineering and operations to ensure feasibility, profitability, and seamless execution
Team Leadership & Development
- Build, structure, and lead a collaborative sales team aligned with company growth objectives
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance development
- Foster cross-functional collaboration between sales, estimating, and operations
- Support and model company core values
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5 years of sales experience in contract manufacturing or custom metal fabrication
- Ability to travel up to 30%
Preferred
- 3 years of sales leadership or supervisory experience
- Experience managing complex B2B sales cycles with demonstrated revenue growth
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, welding, metal finishing, and assembly processes
- Experience with ERP systems (including M1), quotation platforms (e.g., Paperless Parts), and CRM tools (e.g., Pipedrive)
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and sales methodologies (e.g., Sandler or similar frameworks)
- Collaborative leadership style with willingness to engage in hands-on sales and quoting activities
