Job Summary
Quik Wash Laundry in South Austin is hiring a dependable Part Time Laundry Route Driver for a standing weekly commercial laundry route.
This position pays $200 guaranteed per week for approximately 4 to 5 total route hours per week. Routes are consistent and generally involve the same commercial customers each week.
Schedule:
- Monday: Approximately 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM, 3 pickup stops
- Tuesday: Approximately 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM, 2 delivery stops
- Thursday: Approximately 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM, 1 delivery and 1 pickup stop
- Friday: Approximately 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM, 2 delivery stops
Routes begin and end at Quik Wash Laundry on West Gate Blvd in South Austin. Stops are generally within about 15 minutes of the laundromat and include South Austin and downtown Austin.
Responsibilities:
- Pick up and deliver laundry for established commercial customers
- Load and unload laundry bags from your vehicle
- Keep laundry orders organized during transport
- Communicate promptly with Quik Wash regarding pickups, deliveries, delays, or issues
- Provide dependable and professional service to our customers
Requirements
- Reliable medium or large SUV, van, or similar vehicle with adequate cargo space
- Valid driver license
- Current auto insurance
- Consistent availability Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings
- Reliable communication and punctuality
- Ability to safely load and unload multiple laundry bags, some weighing up to 50 pounds
Compensation:
$200 guaranteed per week for completing the scheduled routes.
