Who You Are
Database Engineer should be experienced with designing and supporting Oracle databases in both Linux/Unix and Windows environments. Candidate should be experienced with supporting various server platforms, storage devices and common Microsoft enterprise applications (SharePoint, SQL, IIS etc...). He or she will evaluate server and database performance by utilizing software and hardware monitoring tools. DB Engineers are responsible for assisting project managers and team members with gathering information, design recommendations and approved project implementation.

What You'll Do
Responsibilities include:
- Designs and provides technical support of databases for specific user requirements. Performs development and implementation of data specifications, designs, integration, testing, and documentation.
- May support Web development, migration, testing, documentation, integration and sustainment of web-based software, applications and content.
- Develop complex PL/SQL data processes for large scale custom Oracle applications
- Work with team lead / solution architect on solution design
- Analyze and convert business requirements to technical requirements
What You Bring
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience supporting Oracle, Microsoft SQL, and other database environments
- Strong experience and ability to develop and maintain database solutions
- General familiarity with Linux, Windows, and Solaris operating systems
Required/Skills:
- P/LSQL programming language - dynamic SQL and parallel processing
- Database design and modeling - logical and physical
- Performance tuning - table partitioning and indexing, process threading
- Flexibility and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
- Good communications skills (both verbal & written)
