Quiet Mind Retreat is a boutique wellness retreat offering peaceful, restorative stays in a nature-based setting. We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to oversee daily housekeeping operations and ensure our property consistently meets our high standards of cleanliness, calm, and guest readiness.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in creating beautiful, well-maintained spaces and can confidently lead by example while staying organized and communicative.
Position Overview
The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for overseeing room cleanliness, coordinating housekeeping schedules, maintaining inventory, and ensuring all guest rooms and common areas are prepared with care and consistency. This role blends hands-on work with leadership, organization, and quality control.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations for guest rooms and common areas
- Perform and/or assist with room turnovers, stayover refreshes, and inspections
- Train, supervise, and support housekeeping staff
- Ensure all rooms meet Quiet Mind’s cleanliness and presentation standards
- Create and manage housekeeping schedules based on occupancy
- Track and maintain inventory of linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies
- Communicate with management regarding room status, maintenance issues, and priorities
- Ensure calm, respectful workflow aligned with a wellness retreat environment
Qualifications
- Prior housekeeping or hospitality experience required (management experience preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and high cleanliness standards
- Reliable, punctual, and self-directed
- Ability to lead with kindness, clarity, and accountability
- Comfortable with light administrative tasks (texts, checklists, basic scheduling)
- Physically able to perform housekeeping duties as needed
- Experience in boutique hotels, retreats, or wellness environments is a plus
