Location: 60% onsite travel, 40% remote or office based

We are currently seeking a Field Service Engineer. This role involves servicing and maintaining automated handling systems for the food / pet food industry, with a focus on onsite work and office-based responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be involved in installation, service, repair, and training at customer sites, ensuring high and predictable output for our clients.

Compensation 

• 80 – 85k/ year
• Overtime Available

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite installation, service, and repair of automated handling systems
• Provide technical support and training to customers
• Prepare service quotes for spare parts, inspections, and revisions
• Ensure detailed reporting of all service activities
• Collaborate with engineering on project testing and functionality
• Travel domestically and internationally as required

Requirements

• Experience in Animal or Food Processing and/or Packaging
• High School diploma; 2- or 4-year technology or electronics degree a plus
• 3 - 5 years of experience with automated machinery
• Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
• Valid passport or eligibility to obtain one
• Availability for weekend and holiday work (occasionally)
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus, but not required

• Domestic and international travel required
