QUICKmed is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team and provide care within our local school-based clinics.

Position Summary:
QUICKmed is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide high-quality primary and urgent care services within our school-based clinics. The ideal candidate will be passionate about adolescent health, education, and preventive care, and will thrive in a collaborative, supportive environment focused on improving student wellness and access to care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide acute, chronic, and preventive care to students and staff within the school-based clinic setting.
- Conduct physical exams, diagnose and manage common illnesses and conditions, and prescribe appropriate medications.
- Collaborate with school nurses, counselors, and staff to coordinate comprehensive care and promote health education.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health record (EHR).
- Participate in health promotion and disease prevention initiatives within the school community.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians, school personnel, and other healthcare professionals as appropriate.
- Follow all QUICKmed and school district policies and procedures to ensure safe, effective, and compliant care delivery.
Qualifications:
- Current, unrestricted licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of practice.
- National certification (AANP, ANCC, NCCPA, or equivalent).
- Current DOT certification
- Current DEA license (or eligibility to obtain).
- Current BLS certification required.
- Experience in pediatrics, family practice, or urgent care preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative approach to care.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, during regular school hours (no evenings, weekends, or holidays).
