Electric Vehicle (EV) Assembly Commercial Class 3 to Class 8 Vehicles
Zero Emission Motors and QuickLoadz Manufacturing are seeking highly-skilled individuals to assemble battery electric commerical vehicles in Athens, Ohio.
QuickLoadz Manufacturing is an IRS qualified, California Air Resources Board (CARB) approved electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer. Our product line of Class 3 through Class 8 commercial electric vehicles includes tow trucks, garbage trucks, box trucks, delivery vans, etc.
We are seeking motivated and organized individuals to assemble cab and chassis systems through completed vehicles. Assemblers need to be mechanically inclined, interested to learn new skills and able to multi-task among various projects simutaneously.
Position Description
Work with project managers, engineers, EV specialists and others to build and test BEVs in a production environment.
Necessary Skills

- Excellent communication and technical comprehension skills
- Technical aptitude inclined toward electronics, engineering, science
- Able to read and understand technical documents, diagrams and skematics
- Good written communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work collegially with others with the highest standards of integrity
- Knowledge in vehicle or vehicle components
- Flexible, proactive, attention to detail, and inclination to contribute with strong critical thinking and common sense
- Skilled in navigating ambiguity in a high-volume, high-touch atmosphere
Tasks include but are not limited to the following:
- Support manufacturing with localized production, parts verification and technical support
- Provide technical support for EV battery system related concerns for both pre-production and post-production issues
- Support EV and hybrid vehicle development in collaboration with the Horizon Motor, fostering cross-pollination of knowledge and processes
Qualifications
- Extremely organized and detail oriented
- 2 years of experience in technical support and troubleshooting required, ability to understand how things go together
